Pre-Shoot Consultation
Before the photoshoot, the photographer will schedule a consultation with the client to discuss the details of the shoot, such as the location, theme, outfits, and any specific shots the client may want. This will ensure that both parties are on the same page and have a clear understanding of what the shoot will entail.
Fees and Payment
The photographer will provide the client with a detailed breakdown of the fees associated with the shoot, including the session fee, any additional fees for prints or products, and any applicable taxes. The client will be required to pay a deposit upfront to secure their booking, and the remaining balance will be due on or before the day of the shoot.
Rescheduling and Cancellations
If the client needs to reschedule the shoot due to unforeseen circumstances, the photographer will work with them to find a suitable date and time. If the client cancels the shoot entirely, the deposit will be forfeited, and the photographer may charge a cancellation fee to cover any expenses incurred.
Model Release
The photographer will require the client to sign a model release, which gives the photographer permission to use the images for promotional purposes, such as on their website or social media channels. The client will have the option to opt-out of this if they prefer not to have their images used in this way.
Arrival Time and Late Policy
The client is expected to arrive at the shoot location on time to ensure that the shoot runs smoothly and on schedule. If the client is running late, they must notify the photographer as soon as possible. If the client is more than 30 minutes late, the shoot may need to be rescheduled, and the client may forfeit their deposit.
Conduct and Attire
The client is expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner during the shoot. This includes following the photographer's instructions, treating any equipment with care, and refraining from any behavior that may be deemed inappropriate or offensive. The client should also wear appropriate attire for the shoot, as agreed upon during the pre-shoot consultation.
Photo Selection and Editing
After the shoot, the photographer will provide the client with a selection of images to choose from. The client may select their favorite images for editing and retouching. The photographer will provide a timeline for when the edited images will be delivered, which may vary depending on the number of images and the extent of the editing required.
Delivery and Archiving
The photographer will deliver the edited images to the client via a secure online gallery or USB drive. The client will have a limited time to download the images before they are removed from the gallery. The photographer will also archive the images for a period of time as per their policy, in case the client needs to access them again in the future.
Feedback and Reviews
The photographer welcomes feedback from clients and encourages them to leave a review of their experience on the photographer's website or social media channels. This will help the photographer to continue to improve their services and provide the best possible experience for future clients.
Limitation of Liability
While the photographer will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of the client and their property during the shoot, they cannot be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur. The client agrees to release the photographer from any liability for such incidents.
By agreeing to this policy, the client acknowledges that they have read and understood the terms and conditions of the shoot and agree to comply with them.
